Spring Gala - An Evening of Food, Wine, and Entertainment
The Chinatown Community's Children Center cordially invites you to join us in celebration of "Then and Now, Making a Difference"
CCCC is hosting its 3rd Annual Spring Gala Fundraiser at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park on Friday, March 23, 2001 at 6:30 PM. This year's fundraising theme is "Then and Now, Making a Difference." The gala's festivities will feature spectacular wine, delicious appetizers, a silent auction, a raffle drawing, and a delightful entertainment program performed by the CCCC's children. All guests will have full access to view over 1,500 exhibits from Asia, including the Jade - Stone of Immortality, an exhibit from the Museum's permanent collection and Taoism in China, the museum's featured exhibit in March.
Joan Chen- Actress and Film Director/ Role Model Award Recipient Fred H. Lau-San Francisco Police Chief/ Honorary Gala Chair Over 400 guests are expected to attend.
We are happy to announce that a generous donor will be matching all the proceeds raised. Any donation amount will help us tremendously.
CCCC was founded in 1972, and is one of San Francisco's oldest existing non-profit Chinese Bilingual/Bicultural child care centers. CCCC is dedicated to providing quality child care and an array of other social services to meet the needs of new immigrant families. Our mission is to enable the emotional, social, and economic well-being and independence of our families.
