Executive Director
Anne Kwong

Anne Kwong was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to the United States many years ago.  She speaks Cantonese, English and some Mandarin.  She graduated from San Francisco State University, majored in Early Childhood Education.  She is married and has two children.

She has been in the early childhood education profession for over twenty years.  She has been teacher, head teacher, site supervisor, and interim director in the past.  She loves and has a great passion for young children.  She likes to give back to the community.  She is glad to join CCCC and sees a lot of potential in the children.

She believes all young children have the right to receive high quality, early childhood education in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment.  Her goal for the children is kindergarten readiness, to develop their full potential and to face the challenge of the world.

Her interests include reading, trail walking, traveling, and swimming.

Site Supervisor
Rudy Lam

Rudy Lam graduated with honors from San Francisco State University and majored in Child Adolescent Development. She has been in the teaching field for more than 10 years in San Francisco Unified School District, Peninsula Family Service, Head Start Program, and Chinatown Community Children Center. Throughout all her teaching experience, she strongly believes children can learn best through interesting, meaningful, and powerful interactions, conversations, and plays.  Involving children in plays with creative curriculum can maximize the enhancement of children’s learning.       

Office Manager
Haiyan Chen

Haiyan joined Chinatown Community Children’s Center in October 2007. As a “floating person” at CCCC, her role is to support all staff, children, and their families; working with other team members to maintain CCCC a quality childcare.

Haiyan earned her associate degree in child development from City College of San Francisco and started working in the early childhood education field since 2001. She was also obtaining her bachelor’s degree in humanity (majoring in social work) from New College of San Francisco and expects to graduate in the next year.
